At the IFA 2026 event in Berlin, EarFun has unveiled its latest flagship product, the Wave Pro X over-ear headphones, set to redefine wireless audio experiences. These headphones integrate sophisticated dual-driver audio technology, a hybrid active noise cancellation system, AI-based processing, and a battery life that promises extended use. The Wave Pro X features EarFun’s proprietary DCAA acoustic architecture, which includes two individually tuned dynamic drivers and high-purity voice coils, aimed at delivering a broad soundstage without compromising audio detail across various frequency ranges.
Noise cancellation is a standout feature, achieved through an advanced eight-microphone array paired with real-time processing capabilities. This Hybrid ANC system is engineered to adapt to the listener’s environment, significantly minimizing external noise during audio playback. Battery longevity is another highlight, as EarFun claims the Wave Pro X can deliver up to 90 hours of playback on a single charge or 50 hours when active noise cancellation is engaged. A quick 15-minute charge can yield an additional 10 hours of listening time.
Designed for comfort and convenience, the headphones come with a foldable design and memory-foam earcups, making them suitable for prolonged use. Connectivity features are robust, including Bluetooth multipoint functionality that allows seamless switching between devices, along with a 3.5mm wired connection that offers a high-resolution audio bypass option. EarFun’s CEO, White Wang, emphasized that the Wave Pro X was developed to enhance sound quality, noise cancellation, comfort, connectivity, and battery life, rather than focusing on improving a singular aspect.
In addition to the Wave Pro X, EarFun previewed its forthcoming Air Pro 5 true wireless earbuds. The new earbuds are set to incorporate improved sound tuning, active noise cancellation, and adaptive processing. EarFun collaborated with engineers from Bose Corporation’s Audio Technology division to refine the acoustic engineering, specifically in ANC modeling, tuning, and validation. More details regarding the specifications and availability of the Air Pro 5 are anticipated soon.
The EarFun Wave Pro X headphones are currently available for purchase worldwide through EarFun’s official website and Amazon, priced at €149.99, $129.99, and £119.99.
