US General Chris Donahue emphasized America’s dedication to standing with NATO partners in the defense of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, stressing that effective deterrence hinges on military readiness and decisive action.
In a strategic move, NATO has established a new command structure for the Baltic area, which enhances the alliance’s capability to deploy additional forces and streamline coordination. This revamped system places multinational divisions in Estonia and Latvia under the leadership of a German-led military corps.
