Söder and PM Magyar Strengthen Bavaria-Hungary Relations in Key Meeting

High-level political relations between Bavaria and Hungary have resumed after an eight-year break, marked by a visit from Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder to Budapest. During his meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar, the two leaders agreed to form a joint intergovernmental commission aimed at bolstering cooperation in several strategic sectors. This commission will focus on enhancing collaboration in trade, artificial intelligence, innovation, pharmaceuticals, defense, and higher education.
